Participation in the Unprivilege Film Fund Competition is free. No purchase or payment is required, and a purchase or payment does not improve the odds of winning.
2. Promoter Information
This competition is promoted and managed by Unprivilege Ltd (the “Promoter”).
3. Eligibility
Who Can Enter: Open worldwide to individuals aged 18 and older, except in regions where participation may be legally restricted or prohibited.
Exclusions: Employees, contractors, and their immediate family members associated with the Promoter or any affiliated entity responsible for competition operations are ineligible.
4. How to Enter
Participants can enter the competition through either a paid entry method or a free entry method, detailed below:
Paid Entry: To enter, participants may purchase entry(s) through the Unprivilege website.
Free Entry: To enter without purchase, participants can submit their entry via email. The email must include a completed submission form, including the the participant’s full name, age, and contact details, and must be sent to freeentry@unprivilege.com. The subject line should read: “Free Entry - [Month/Year] Unprivilege Competition.”
Note: Paid and free entries are treated equally, with no preference given based on the method of entry.
5. Competition Period
The competition will run on a monthly basis.
Each competition month opens on the first day of the month at 00:01 GMT and closes on the last day of the month at 23:59 GMT.
Entries submitted outside of this period will not be eligible for the respective month’s draw.
6. Prize Details
Grand Prize: The Grand Prize for each month is £500 to fund a film project, awarded to one randomly selected eligible winner.
Additional Prizes: Other prizes or opportunities may be awarded each month at the Promoter’s discretion.
7. Winner Selection and Notification
Winners will be selected through a verifiable random process from all eligible entries received, regardless of entry method.
The winner(s) will be notified via email or telephone within seven (7) business days of the draw date.
If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 96 hours of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.
8. Free and Paid Entries Treated Equally
Paid entries and free entries will be treated equally. The competition does not recognize any difference between entry methods, ensuring fairness in the selection process.
All entries (paid and free) will be entered into the same pool, with no preference given to any participant based on their method of entry.
9. Publicity and Promotional Use
By entering the competition, participants agree that their names and likenesses may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10. Terms of Prize Acceptance
Verification of Winner(s): Winners may be required to provide proof of eligibility and complete any necessary documentation to claim the prize.
Receipt of Prize Funds: Prize funds are granted upon verification and must be used toward the film project described in the entry.
Tax Responsibility: Any taxes or costs associated with receiving or using the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
All personal information collected during the entry process will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
Participant data will only be used for the purpose of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties without the participant’s consent.
12. General Terms and Conditions
Right to Suspend or Cancel: The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, modify, or cancel the competition if unforeseen circumstances or events beyond its control make it impractical or impossible to continue.
Limitation of Liability: The Promoter is not responsible for any technical, hardware, or software failures, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, or delayed electronic communications or entries.
Governing Law: These rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, and participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
